I’ve been sick lately, off and on. Then¬†once I thought I had overcome the cold it came back and hit me really hard. Knocking me into bed for almost two whole days of just sleep.

Since I’m feeling better now I decided to make some drawings ūüėÄ YAY! Hope you all are feeling well, or at least will get well soon.

Here is the actual drawing completed:

Uni Through Darkness

And a close up for good measure!

Uni Clouds Closeup

Shake off the dust and keep on flying Uni, the daylight can’t be far from us.

Thanks to all of my readers / fellow bloggers for providing feedback on my posts, it would be awfully lonely on my blog without you!

Here are my top 3 most viewed posts over the years:

#1:¬†“How to make an origami dragon with wings

A step by step picture tutorial on how to fold a gigantic origami dragon like the one below. I taped several newspaper pages together to get a piece of paper large enough to make this big guy.

For anyone who learns better from video instructions, I made an easier to follow tutorial on how to fold the origami dragon. This time it is a small one.

#2:¬†My Tuxedo Cats Doing ‚ÄúThe Ugly¬†Dance‚ÄĚ

Who doesn’t like to see people with cats heads in business suits doing a funny dance?! I don’t think we had adopted Lisa when I posted this… Maybe a Lisa dancer is coming our way?

#3:¬†“Inktober 29th- Winged¬†Lion

One of my Inktober drawings, yay! I want to do a drawing per day again in October this year but I’m not the most consistent person on Earth. We will see what happens : )

Ah, memories!

Its shocking how fast time has passed since I’ve been blogging. I started sometime in 2012 with no idea what I would blog about, besides cats and maybe drawings.

NG TY
Nice Guy is now an old man cat, at 11 years old! He is still as handsome as ever though.

I didn’t know if I could keep blogging over such a course of time, for lack of anything interesting to write about. Good thing life is always throwing different things at me to keep things interesting!

KYO TY
Whew, all this blogging stuff has got Kyoko tired out. (he is now 4 years old, by the way.)

Lisa TY
Lisa strikes a pose, who knows how old she is since we adopted her as an adult?

Thats all I have for this post, hope it was enjoyable… If anyone wants to share what they think¬†my best post¬†so far was and why,¬†I’d enjoy some feedback : )

Its been some time since I originally made my post about folding an origami dragon.

It seems to me that my instructions were not so clear, since I only had photos for demonstration.
Here is a video I made showing step by step instructions on how to fold an origami dragon with wings.

My daughter and myself were doing some laundry when we found this super cute moth hanging out on the door!¬†So of course, I had to take a video of it because its SO CUTE!! It looks like it is newly emerged because its wings aren’t that big yet.

Don’t worry we were really careful with it and put it in a safe place after filming!

I just love drawing kitties with wings : )

I suppose these little winged kitties of mine would hatch out of an egg and find themselves in a great big strange place that they are compelled to explore!
Winged lion cubLooking back at all these drawings I’ve made nearly every day I feel as though October is a very long month. I wonder how I’ll feel after I’m not doing inktober doodles? Maybe I’ll keep on drawing or move on to another project? Who knows, only time will tell.

This little guy is ready to fly to warmer climates, I wish he could take me with him this winter!small winged dragon

If my cats could fly this is what they would look like when they come jumping out of the bushes to greet me.Jump winged catIts quite a bit less detailed, i guess i just wasn’t in the mood to do more with this. I still like the idea though : )

This is the largest origami dragon I’ve ever made, obviously I am very happy with it ūüėÄ

You can see how my dragon origami flaps its wings in this video!

(UPDATE: I have got rid of the step by step photo “How to” post because it was confusing and replaced it with an easier to follow video which I will post here.)

I drew a winged cat who is carrying a newly formed star across the sky to its new home.

Flying cat carrying a star

It took me about an hour and 6 minutes to draw.

Thanks to the magic of video editing you can watch me draw this in about a minute!
