Its been a while since I went out to the creek together with all the cats so I decided it was time to go on an outing.

You can tell that all of the cats want some personal space from one another, since we have been indoors for some time. (After the “Halloween Seclusion” and my being sick)

Despite minor squabbles, it was a nice outing… and much racing was done between the three of them.

Here are some bonus pictures from the walk (not in the video)

All up hill

These birds are so cute and tiny compared to the huge sunflowers that they are eating from! If you watch the video closely, you can see a number of bees flying about and they are of considerable size when you compare them to the size of this little bird.

I thought that this particular garden was much nicer than the others I had passed while I was “On Safari”. Not because of the flowers, but more because it was feeding the wildlife in the area.

Now for some snapshots!

Throughout the summer (2015) I kept my eyes open for butterflies and tried my best to get as much footage as I could. I’m pretty happy with some of the close up shots that I got. Okay.. so one of the butterflies in the video was from a couple years ago, but I think it fits well with the other flutterbyes.

I’m not sure what kind of butterflies they are, I did some quick google searches to guess at what they may be. Correct me if I’m wrong 😀

Here are some still frames of the butterflies:

Two “Pearl Crescent” Butterflies … ahem!

I wanted to have Kyoko’s kitten videos on my new channel so i did a remix and put new music over it.
I like revisiting old memories like how Nice Guy reacted when he was first harassed by kyoko, or how Kyoko played with literally EVERYTHING in sight. Including my pant leg, a bouncy ball and his old wooden brush.

He gets so wild about playing that he even bonks straight into a wall… oops. I believe all of this footage was from the first day we adopted Kyoko.

How we got Kyoko:

In June 2011 Kyoko was adopted from a local ad found on the internet for $20, we guessed that he was only about a month old.

Out of all the kitten ads we saw, he was the cutest little guy we could find.
We didn’t want to get a girl kitty, we needed another male kitty to keep our Mr. Nice Guy some company.

Why he is named Kyoko

Kyoko was named after a city in Japan called Kyoto.  It was also my name in Japanese class in highschool, it meant “today’s child”. Later we found out that Kyoko is really a girl’s name. He has a high pitched meow, so I guess that is okay!

How he related to his humans

He was always curious and watching what us people are doing, as though he will one day do what he sees us do.

He gave us long adoring looks, making direct eye contact… with such love!

Nice Guy’s reaction to little Kyoko

He didn’t really like the idea of Kyoko coming to live in HIS home…

But he learned to tolerate him, as he tolerates most other things.

From kitten to adult

Kyoko says:

“What do you mean I’m in the way? I’m providing a valuable service by stopping that annoying clickity clacking sound from happening.”“Get my good side for the newspaper, I’m on the front page right?”“Oh no! I forgot, THIS is my good side… silly me.”(He is quite the big kitty these days, at least he keeps me warm while i can’t get my “work” done.)

Since “Inktober” has ended I have been on a break from blogging but I’m back.

I’ve been storing up many pictures of my kitties for a couple years now… I’ll start posting them on here to share with everybody purhaps with a little tid-bit of writing. They will be in no particular order, some days I could even be posting kitten pictures!

This is where Kyoko hid for a while when we first moved in to our new apartment about a year ago. The bathroom cupboard was his safe zone.
Behold! Kyoko’s shiny eyes a while after he decided he could be safe in the house! (My oh my look how clean our fire place is!)

Here he is bravely stepping out our apartment door and venturing downstairs for the very first time. The world is a place of wonder and scents to our kitties.

Kyoko laying with me

Kyoko loves to be brushed and petted when he comes for a snuggle!

Lisa needs lots of hugs!

Lisa meows at me for some hugs when she is feeling lonely.

Nice guy is a cutie

Nice Guy needs no invitation to come sit on my lap wherever i may be. He knows i will pet him and he purrs loud!

Nice guy laying on my legs.

Who needs a blanket when you’ve got a Mr. Nice Guy to keep you warm?

Ahem... did i say you could read?

Its clearly not time to be reading, its time to be petting!

I read that today was “World Cat Day” … I talked it over with my cats and they agreed that every day is cat day.
