In an attempt to become even more human he tries on our shoes. (Sorry about the flash there Kyoko.)

Kyoko says: “Would you mind passing me that other shoe?”

There, now his disguise is complete. Nobody will call him a “pet” again!

Kyoko says:

“What do you mean I’m in the way? I’m providing a valuable service by stopping that annoying clickity clacking sound from happening.”“Get my good side for the newspaper, I’m on the front page right?”“Oh no! I forgot, THIS is my good side… silly me.”(He is quite the big kitty these days, at least he keeps me warm while i can’t get my “work” done.)

100th Blog post

We finally hit the 100 posts mark! Hooray for kitty cats, videos and drawings! And an even bigger HOORAY to all of the people who read our blog!Kyoko says “has it really been so long that we did 100 things on here?”
Yep, it has… Now what do we do?
Wash our paws, of course. That’s what any dignified kitty cat would do!Err.. come back later this could take a while, K?Thanks again for reading our blog, we hope to post more cute kitties in our future 😀

I showed Nice Guy and Kyoko a drawing I made a while back…

I’d say it resembles him, but then again a cat has a high opinion of their own beauty which is reflected not by appearance but from within.

Then there was the drawing I showed Kyoko… (which was only a mild resemblance.)

I think I drew this cat in such a way because Kyoko has a habit of becoming very startled when there is a loud sound or the dreaded plastic bag crinkle. He doesn’t delay to LEAP out of your lap or scurry out of your arms, sometimes using claws. Poor timid boy… If only I could explain that the bag isn’t his enemy.

Nature! The amazing open space… This is the kitty cat Kyoko.

His continuing mission- To explore strange new yards.

To seek out new life and scent realizations…

To BOLDLY SNIFF WHERE NO CAT HAS SNIFFED BEFORE!

(Star Trek music plays as Kyoko goes into warp drive)

Wooosh!

Since “Inktober” has ended I have been on a break from blogging but I’m back.

I’ve been storing up many pictures of my kitties for a couple years now… I’ll start posting them on here to share with everybody purhaps with a little tid-bit of writing. They will be in no particular order, some days I could even be posting kitten pictures!

This is where Kyoko hid for a while when we first moved in to our new apartment about a year ago. The bathroom cupboard was his safe zone.
Behold! Kyoko’s shiny eyes a while after he decided he could be safe in the house! (My oh my look how clean our fire place is!)

Here he is bravely stepping out our apartment door and venturing downstairs for the very first time. The world is a place of wonder and scents to our kitties.

He dashes across the screen, looks up with whiskers posed towards the prey. With one great leap into the air he finally captures the toy mouse!

Nice Guy makes an appearance in this video as he acts as the immovable object and Kyoko acts as the unstoppable force!

In this video Lisa meets another one of the neighborhood cats whom I have already met several times with Kyoko.
I’m very happy that I have enough time to be able to accompany my cats outdoors where they can be free and meet other cats like themselves. I feel like if i wasn’t there to be a mediator that some of these meetings may not go quite as peacefully.

Its great that pretty much all of the cats we have met are tolerant if not friendly to our cats.
Lisa wasn’t too comfortable with this new kitty’s scent so she decided to climb a tree instead of sticking around.

Personally, I think she was showing off her skills to impress everybody.

I found Kyoko laying in a pile of Pokemon cards so I asked him who his favorite Pokemon were.

kyokomon THREE

He seemed to like Purloin pretty well, I like that one too!

kyokomon FOUR
When I gave him the Minun card he seemed to like that one pretty well too.
kyokomon ONE

I told him to keep good care of it and never to trade it for anything!
kyokomon TWO

You can watch his reaction in Kyoko’s newest video:

Antiques cat show, brought to you by Kyoko the grey and white tuxedo cat!
Today he appraises a few of the household knick knacks including: A mouse, a fellow cat, and a raccoon.
Kyoko’s bite can determine what the object is made out of and his well defined taste buds can draw accurate conclusions about the age of an item by flavors in the dust sediment.
