This is how I feel my hair looks after I shampoo it:
Got some 80’s hair goin’ there, little lion!
I remember watching this show back when I was still in school, my dad always laughed really hard when we watched it together. I missed most of the jokes because I was too young to “get” the jokes and style of humor that it used. Plus, with my dad laughing that hard its hard to hear this show XD
Anyways, I drew the three main characters from this show. They are cute, even though they are robotic cats.
According to Wikipedia: “proper translations of the original Japanese episodes were either of poor quality or non-existent, so it was decided to write completely original dialogue for the English dub, playing the show as a wacky, Animaniacs-esque comedy in contrast to the less farcical original version.”
So when the show came across seas to the us English speaking people, the show was turned into a kind of parody Dub cartoon… I am curious now how the original cartoon plot goes and what the characters were really supposed to be like?
I’ve been reading about this little scaly creature called a Pangolin… they are incredible ant eating mammals who carry their young on their tail!
Its sad though, every time I google or youtube search to see more pictures of them there are so many results that are about how they are being poached and killed to be sold on the black market. :’ (
They seem so sweet and helpless, like all they want to do is roam around and eat ants with their sticky tongue.
Its shedding season at my house and you know what that means:
The dreaded fur tornado has appeared! It is a swirl of irritation which follows every cat as they lose their summer coat in preparation for winter.
If you have been the victim of a furnado then you definitely know what I’m talking about. The itchy eyes and sniffly nose caused by this feat of nature.
The only known way to escape a furnado is to pass it on to someone else, which is why I keep a kitty comb/brush at my work station – a vain attempt to capture those kitty fibers as they try to pass off the furry flurry onto me!
A mother sand cat with her kittens, looks like she doesn’t want visitors!
Well, looks like I missed out on making an inktober drawing for yesterday. I was very disappointed to not be able to make something, alas the limitations of human energy levels.
Hope you enjoy my newest drawings : )
A tall and long serpent dragon in the sky. It is stretching from the earth up into the heavens, of course since it is a dragon it leaves a path of destruction wherever it goes. For this reason it can’t stay in any given place for very long. Its in love with itself and it perceives that it has ultimate power, given to boasting and high mindedness.
This is an interesting thing which I chose to draw, having very little experience in drawing insects.
Now… I drew this not being entirely sure of what I was drawing. To me, it looks like this is a fuzzy butterfly who is grooming its face with its front legs. BUT it also looks like it has strange horns sticking out from beside its mouth.
Here is my reference picture that I used, which I took a couple years ago when the butterfly landed conveniently in front of me and my daughter on a pear tree.
If anyone knows what kind of butterfly this is, I would enjoy hearing from you 😀
It seems like Mr. Nice Guy has been getting a lot of time in the spotlight, Time to draw Lisa and Kyoko!
Sometimes it seems like Lisa thinks she is getting recognition or praise when I talk to her about a thing that she is doing… such as sitting on my drawing paper! Its hard to be upset with Lisa because she just seems so innocent and playful.
He often reminds me that his dish is empty, that he really wants me to feed him. Some of the looks he gives are so pitiful that he sometimes almost gets a second meal from another family member because they think he hasn’t been fed. But thats not all there is to his character, just one of the things he enjoys. Another favorite past time is lots and lots of cuddles and nose smears!
