I remember watching this show back when I was still in school, my dad always laughed really hard when we watched it together. I missed most of the jokes because I was too young to “get” the jokes and style of humor that it used. Plus, with my dad laughing that hard its hard to hear this show XD
Anyways, I drew the three main characters from this show. They are cute, even though they are robotic cats.
According to Wikipedia: “proper translations of the original Japanese episodes were either of poor quality or non-existent, so it was decided to write completely original dialogue for the English dub, playing the show as a wacky, Animaniacs-esque comedy in contrast to the less farcical original version.”
So when the show came across seas to the us English speaking people, the show was turned into a kind of parody Dub cartoon… I am curious now how the original cartoon plot goes and what the characters were really supposed to be like?
I’m having a lot of fun drawing Pokemon for my YouTube channel. Ninetales seems so pretty and agile so this picture struck me as a funny thing to make because I always thought smokescreen would look a bit like a burp or cough when a fire type pokemon would use it.
In theory, Smokescreen could be a result of Ninetales trying to use Flamethrower after it just got done drinking a large amount of water. How embarrassing! Well at least Ninetales can run away while any onlookers are shrouded in the Smokescreen.
Today I thought I’d try to draw a few characters from a really cute cartoon called “The Fantastic Adventures of Unico”
I feel like this story speaks volumes, not only does it teach that we have the ability to spread happiness wherever we may be NO MATTER HOW GLUM the circumstances may be- It also teaches us that people with behavior that we find unsuitable or unpleasant are sometimes the people who need a friend the most because they are the ones who get in trouble because of being mislead by their whims!
Beezle was just downright abusive to unico… he had no idea how to be friends, he is a devil after all. But when it came right down to it, he made up an excuse to break his usual rules of conduct and he pulled through for unico when he was in danger!
Katy was an abandoned kitty with grand dreams of becoming a witch, she just wasn’t living in the “real world”. Katy seemed very selfish when they first met and one thing lead to another and then Katy was in danger despite unico’s good advice. She didn’t seem to have loyalty to anyone, not even herself. She redeems herself after a near fatal incident at a castle where unico and beezle make an appearance.
I remember watching the cartoon “Oliver and Company” a whole bunch when I was little. It was my one of my favorite movies. For some reason I thought this little guy was named “Banjo” back then so every orange stuffed animal kitty that I got was named Banjo.
So I drew a happy little zorua. When I heard about inktober I was very happy because my favorite drawing utensil is a pen, PLUS now I get to see other what other people’s ink drawings look like. Yaaay!
