I showed Nice Guy and Kyoko a drawing I made a while back…
I’d say it resembles him, but then again a cat has a high opinion of their own beauty which is reflected not by appearance but from within.
Then there was the drawing I showed Kyoko… (which was only a mild resemblance.)
I think I drew this cat in such a way because Kyoko has a habit of becoming very startled when there is a loud sound or the dreaded plastic bag crinkle. He doesn’t delay to LEAP out of your lap or scurry out of your arms, sometimes using claws. Poor timid boy… If only I could explain that the bag isn’t his enemy.
Lisa is playing with my stuffed sea serpent puppet when all of a sudden she notices that everybody is watching her! My daughter even does a cute voice for her while she is in “tongue stuck out funny face” awe.
Maybe she heard us talking about Bub the cat and was trying to steal his signature look and fame? Naaah.
Here is my Inktober drawing for today, it is the puppet stuffed animal that lisa was chewing on! Don’t worry he isn’t hurt/ripped/punctured. Anyhow I always thought this little guy was goofy looking and very cute at the same time. It was a gift from my mom 😀
Happy little griffins <3 Not too much more to say!
Kinda got in a hurry and forgot to do the details on the front feet!
Just doing a little computer work, you know… fancy mouse wiggling and clicking.
Here is a dorky little donkey that I used to watch when I was little. He is silly, kind of odd looking but still manages to be very cute.I really loved how the two donkeys traveled together through harsh environments and kept each other well enough for being in such a terrible place.
Here is a video that I remember very well from back then, the audio has that nice warm feeling to it that still makes me kind of sleepy.
Tonight I thought that I would try something different with my art. I drew the picture like usual. Then instead of doing my usual line shading for the background I cut out my drawing and then glued star shaped paper to a blank sheet and spray painted it black! After the spray paint dried I peeled off the stars and then taped on my drawing over the black, I really like how it turned out 😀
Just a side note: Please forgive the sillyness of my behind schedule posting, I post my art during the night and by the time I finish drawing and typing it is usually well past 12 midnight which makes it the next day even though I intended on posting this for the current day. I know it doesn’t really matter but I bet someone out there has noticed that I constantly appear to be a day behind.
I remember watching the cartoon “Oliver and Company” a whole bunch when I was little. It was my one of my favorite movies. For some reason I thought this little guy was named “Banjo” back then so every orange stuffed animal kitty that I got was named Banjo.
A cheetah is fast, turning on a dime it chases its prey! If this spotted cat doesn’t make a successful kill it will have wasted precious energy. Its super long tail acts as an amazing counter balance, WOOSH!
