Here is a video I recorded in late summer this year of my catnip plant harvest:
Needless to say I smelled just like catnip for the rest of the day. In fact, it was such a powerful smell that I didn’t really want to touch catnip again for at least a week! About a month after this video was made I went back with my clippers and cut the rest of the bush up since it didn’t reflower, I left enough for the plant to grow a little and (hopefully) survive the winter.
Since I harvested catnip… and I have 3 cats, you know what is coming next.
Thats right! Yet another video of my cats enjoying catnip! Hooray!!
For some reason Nice Guy never joins these social events. He is more of a private nip eating kinda guy. Oh well, Lisa and Kyoko really seemed to enjoy themselves.
My “new” wordpress blog is now up and running.. My wonderful Fiance has helped me install all the plug ins I needed and taught me how to use my self hosted site. I really don’t know if I would have done the transfer if it were all up to me!
I heard that there are many more options to customize my blog with this self hosted site stuff, I’ve been blogging long enough now that its seems like a good idea to get this done and over with.
I still feel a little worried that I overlooked something so if anyone sees something that is amiss please don’t hesitate to comment and tell me! Mostly I’m concerned that I left out something big, like if people can’t follow my blog on the “wordpress reader” like before that would be pretty yucky.
Calm down kitty, its OK!
I plan on continuing to post the same kind of things as before: Drawings, Videos, Gardening, Cat stuff ETC.
So stay tuned… and thank you to my followers, new and old, for letting me share my drawings and interests with you 😀
I remember watching this show back when I was still in school, my dad always laughed really hard when we watched it together. I missed most of the jokes because I was too young to “get” the jokes and style of humor that it used. Plus, with my dad laughing that hard its hard to hear this show XD
Anyways, I drew the three main characters from this show. They are cute, even though they are robotic cats.
According to Wikipedia: “proper translations of the original Japanese episodes were either of poor quality or non-existent, so it was decided to write completely original dialogue for the English dub, playing the show as a wacky, Animaniacs-esque comedy in contrast to the less farcical original version.”
So when the show came across seas to the us English speaking people, the show was turned into a kind of parody Dub cartoon… I am curious now how the original cartoon plot goes and what the characters were really supposed to be like?
I haven’t been posting my inktober drawings so much because I’m working on moving my blog over to a self hosted blog. Hopefully it will be up soon and all of my subscribers will be transferred over and all that good stuff. I just want to get back to blogging like normal and the process (for me) seems difficult.
I did manage to make a drawing for today though 😀
I call it a lion bird because its silly looking, the gryphon’s goofy cousin! I could never imagine this thing hunting something to eat… its just way too funny and happy.
Its a little scary being beamed onto a planet from space for the first time… even though it wasn’t a major mission. Just getting some readings about a device we found on sensors, turned out to be nothing of interest though.
Its shedding season at my house and you know what that means:
The dreaded fur tornado has appeared! It is a swirl of irritation which follows every cat as they lose their summer coat in preparation for winter.
If you have been the victim of a furnado then you definitely know what I’m talking about. The itchy eyes and sniffly nose caused by this feat of nature.
The only known way to escape a furnado is to pass it on to someone else, which is why I keep a kitty comb/brush at my work station – a vain attempt to capture those kitty fibers as they try to pass off the furry flurry onto me!
